Iran in World Cup 2006

Tonight Iranian football team has successfully qualified for the World Cup 2006 in Germany. The streets of Tehran was full of jubilant crowds. Dancing and waving flags, something very rare in my country. Boys and Girls were dancing publicly and some girls had taken off their obligatory scarf (Hejab) in a bold action. These actions usually have harsh punishment by law enforcement in Islamic laws but tonight nothing could stop the crow from being what they are and not what the authorities wants them to be. The funny stuff is the boy in the photo is wearing a headband for Hashemi's presidential election campagin, who is a cleric and also one of the main leaders of Islamic revolution. My photos was not good enough tonight. I didn't have any experience with action shots like this specially at night.
